Michel's family
On September 14th,

Michel Joseph DELPERDANGE married
Anne Marie KLAINES
. By that time, they did not know
that their union would be the start of de development of an
important
Delperdange line in the United States of America.
They got married in Bastogne, lived some years in this town,
but about 1825 moved
to WARNACH (Fauvillers), a little
village about 15 km
south of Bastogne.

elder son, Michel Joseph, remained in Warnach where he
married Anne BRILOT

1860.
They
had 5 children, all born in Warnach. He died in Bastogne on
February 18th 1900.
Jean François moved to Arville where he married Marguerite
Joseph PAJOT. They had 5 children, all born in Arville.
Jean (who
is often called Jean Pierre), born in 1932, got
married with Anne Marie ROBERT in 1856, and became
shoemaker in MORHET (Vaux sur Sure). He had 8 children, all
born in Morhet.
The other three
sons
-
Nicolas, Lambert and Hubert
-
emigrated to the States (see the Story of ...
chapters) where a lot of descendants of Henri HANSY
can still be traced.
Marie Jeanne (born in 1840) married Pierre Joachim LEJEUNE.
They gave birth to
August Joachim LEJEUNE,
who later also emigrated to the States (see : the story of
AUGUST).
The father, Michel Joseph,
had already died on 16/01/1843 at the age of 47

In the cemetery of Warnach a commemoration plate still bears
his name and the name of his wife, Anne Marie KLAINES, who
died on 22/10/1879 at the age of 82
